Thanks to KytyPS5, an experimental emulator that supported many games to make this possible at 40-60 FPS. Lighter games hold around 60 FPS, while heavy titles like GTA V and Demon’s Souls still struggle.

You don’t need to have played any earlier Ace Combat game. The story is self-contained, so newcomers won’t need to do any prior research. It plays like an arcade flight-combat shooter with a few ideas borrowed from combat flight sims, so you spend your time dogfighting and don’t have to study a flight manual first. When you finish the campaign, there’s also ACE COMBAT ONLINE, a co-op and multiplayer mode with cross-platform play for up to eight players.

Which Platform Runs Ace Combat 8 Best?

Reviewers found all three platforms play well, but there are differences.

PS5 Pro is the best console version, according to Respec’s testing. On the base PS5, Xbox Series X and PS5 Pro, you can choose between a 30fps quality mode and a 60fps performance mode. Whatever your total, the missions vary. Some ask you to wipe out everything in an area, others have you spot disguised armed ships, fly low to dodge radar, or escort friendly aircraft home. There’s also replay value: Free Mission mode lets you go back and improve your grade. Critics are broadly positive. Metacritic scores run from 86 to 90 depending on platform, and OpenCritic sits at 89.

Conclusion

If you own a PS5 Pro, that’s the version to get. On a base PS5 or Xbox Series X, you’ll get a smooth 60fps performance mode and a lovely 30fps quality mode, so pick based on which console you already have.

So when Xbox CEO Asha Sharma says there’s more demand than consoles available, plenty of players squint at the screen. If you’re an Xbox owner or a would-be buyer, the real question isn’t who’s right. It’s what you do next.

Asha Sharma posted on X on October 28, 2026, after Microsoft’s earnings. The numbers covered the quarter ending September 30, 2026. Her line: “Console sales remain constrained by supply, with more demand than consoles available.”

Factors matter. Such as, over the course of a year, overall revenue went 2% down, price hardware revenues down by 14%, which Microsoft linked to the lower size of the console sales. The previous quarter’s overall decline was 10%, so the trend is improving even as hardware sinks. CFO Amy Hood said the drop came from third-party content and Game Pass, partly offset by first-party growth.

Goal: one crown per row, column, and color region — and no two crowns touching, not even diagonally.

Today’s solution (crown position by row, columns 1–7):

Place one crown in each of those (row, column) spots and every row, column, and color block checks out clean.

Tango

Goal: Each row and column must have three suns and three moons and more than two identical elements can’t be placed vertically and horizontally. This `=` sign means the same items should be placed on each side, `×` sign means different symbols must be placed on each side of the sign.

The setup — what today’s board actually gives you:

Row 2 comes with two moons already placed, in columns 3 and 4.
Row 4 comes with a sun–moon–sun–sun run across columns 2 to 5.
