Emma Roberts Card Collecting Is Going Live With New Summer Breaks Channel

Emma Roberts Card Collecting is going live with a new Summer Breaks channel, giving fans a closer look at her passion for collecting.

Most celebrities have a hobby that shows up in a magazine profile and nowhere else. Emma Roberts Card Collecting is different, because she’s turning it into a show. On Jimmy Kimmel Live!, she announced that she and her husband are launching a trading-card channel on Fanatics Live. It’s called Summer Breaks, and it starts November 4.

Roberts isn’t a casual fan. By her own account on the show, she collects across categories, from Star Wars and Disney to sports. She has also done Fanatics Live breaks before, including a Super Bowl red-carpet event in 2025, and she even broke cards with guests during her wedding weekend.

Her wedding also came up, with a detail that’s easy to remember. According to a summary of the interview, her five-year-old son walked her down the aisle at the Sun Valley, Idaho ceremony.

Ripping 1986 Fleer With Jimmy Kimmel and Landing a Darryl Strawberry

The segment turned into a live demo. Kimmel and Roberts ripped a box of 1986 Fleer baseball cards. The vintage box fit the timing, since 2026 is the 40th anniversary of the Mets’ 1986 World Series win.

The payoff came late. They pulled a Darryl Strawberry card, the Mets favorite. According to the interview, Kimmel handed it to Emma as a good-luck charm.

Jimmy Kimmel and Landing a Darryl Strawberry

That moment explains the appeal better than any pitch. A break is a treasure hunt, and nobody knows what’s in the pack until it’s open.

Roberts told Kimmel about the one she’s still chasing, a rare Tom Brady baseball card. Collectors know that feeling of Emma Roberts Card Collecting: the one card that always seems to land in someone else’s pack.

How Summer Breaks Stacks Up Against Other Celebrity Channels

Emma Robert’s not the first famous name to try this. Summer Breaks joins nearly 100 active shops on Fanatics Live, including Tom Brady’s CardVault Breaks and Karl-Anthony Towns’ Big Bodegas Breaks.

The competition is built around athletes who know their own sport’s cards. Roberts has no such lane, and that may help her. Emma Roberts Card Collecting is a mix of entertainment cards and sports cards that could pull in a crowd the athlete channels don’t reach, and her pitch is about hanging out, not just hitting big pulls.

Jimmy Kimmel Live

If you’re curious, watch the first stream of Emma Roberts Card Collecting on November 4 before you spend anything. Breaks are run off luck, spots are more on a pay-per-hit basis. Get a feel for the pacing, the pricing, and the community first. Roberts says viewers can hang out, join breaks, and win prizes. Starting as a spectator costs you nothing.

Elizabeth Olsen’s MCU Return: The Truth Behind the Headlines

Elizabeth Olsen confirms her Marvel return but skips Avengers: Doomsday & Secret Wars. Find out the truth behind Scarlet Witch’s MCU future and new FX project!

Published: Oct 6, 2025, 7:17 AM
Last Updated: May 11, 2026, 6:06 AM

Yes, Elizabeth Olsen is confirmed to return in the MCU.If you’re concerned that Elizabeth Olsen won’t make a return as Scarlet Witch in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, rest assured: she is. Although Hollywood is currently on a bit of a break, Deadline shared that Hamptons International Film Festival has been in full swing, providing sneak previews of what’s ahead, and with it, the talent to bring light to their projects and comment on them. She added, “These movies really aren’t made for critics, these movies are made for fans,” and said she is very excited about doing“ character story lines from the comics that people have wanted to see characters do.”

The Current Reality: Not in Avengers: Doomsday or Secret Wars

While she was open to coming back, Olsen has officially said she will not be in the next Avengers movies. In March 2025, she said to The Hollywood Reporter: “No, I’m back. I’ve just finished. I’m off to shoot a pilot for FX [Seven Sisters]”. A schedule conflict rules her out for both Avengers: Doomsday (May 1, 2026) and Avengers: Secret Wars (May 7, 2027).

Marvel Didn’t “Cast Her Out” – It’s About Artistic Choice and Scheduling

Liz or Marvel Haven’t “Cast Her Out” – This is more about Elizabeth Olsen’s personal artistic choices and schedule conflicts. Olsen said: “I had no idea until about six years ago, but because Marvel and its power occupies so much space and time in the world, it is really important for me to make choices outside of Marvel that align with my taste”. She stressed that she wants to explore her artistic identity outside of the Marvel universe.

Why She Said This: Balancing Marvel with Personal Projects

Olsen’s remarks show her yearning to have creative flexibility while still being a part of the MCU. She had earlier said that Marvel has given her ‘some feeling of insurance in my life that has given me freedom to choose other jobs’. Her response has been: “I never really had the attitude that “one for them, one for me.” Marvel has been such a solid thing I’ve been able to go back to”.

Her Recent MCU Return: Marvel Zombies

Olsen has also returned to voice Scarlet Witch, in the animated series Marvel Zombies on Disney+ on September 24, 2025 but was not in any live-action films. The four-episode series include other MCU actors who also play versions of themselves in a zombie apocalypse story. But she said these voice sessions were recorded years ago, Forbes shared.

Scarlet Witch’s “Death” and Long-Term MCU Possibilities

Marvel has now said that Wanda Maximoff did die in Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness. The official MCU timeline book says she “ destroys Wundagore and buries it under herself, eliminating two major threats to the entire Multiverse”. But death is seldom permanent in the comics and superhero stories generally, particularly for major characters like Scarlet Witch.

Olsen is currently concentrating on the FX pilot Seven Sisters, reuniting her with Martha Marcy May Marlene helmer Sean Durkin. The story follows a family that falls apart when one sister (Olsen) starts hearing voices that nobody else can.

In a future that marvel fans call the multiverse, insider Alex Perez has implied that Elizabeth Olsen is going to continue to play Scarlet Witch post Marvels secret mcu reset following Avengers: Secret Wars. This suggests that even though she might be missing from some of the immediate Avengers movies, there is still a lot of potential for her in the MCU long-term future.

Her Interest in House of M Storyline

Notably, Olsen has also articulated a particular wish to One story to touch on adapting the House of M comic story arc, I think House of M is just the coolest thing. I feel like it would be so fun to do something with the X-Men or mutants.” This hints at storylines for the future that may well bring her back, particularly as the MCU positions itself to bring in mutants and the X-Men.

Conclusion

Elizabeth Olsen’s door to the MCU is still open and positive. Although hectic scheduling and a wish to pursue other artistic avenues have prevented her from gracing the biggest Avengers films, her openness to return and her continuing involvement with Marvel properties — such as Marvel Zombies — hint that Scarlet Witch’s tale in the MCU isn’t finished.

Austin Swift Net Worth: Taylor Swift’s Brother Built His Own Hollywood Career

Austin Swift Net Worth in 2026 revealed. Explore his acting career, earnings, income sources, lifestyle, and connection to Taylor Swift.

The surname ‘Swift’ known by everyone as Taylor Swift – the stadium-filling, record-breaking pop superstar. But his younger brother, Austin Swift has also made a career in Hollywood which is worth knowing. While he never published his worth publicly, insiders estimated around $5 million to $10 million, others said Austin Swift Net Worth $50 million and $65 million.

Austin Swift’s journey from Pennsylvania to Hollywood is more than money, it’s about building his empire behind the stage. Let’s break it all down.

Who Is Austin Swift?

Austin Kingsley Swift was raised alongside his big sister Taylor Swift in a family that valued creativity and ambition. As a child, he dabbled in various art forms, primarily storytelling, theatre and photography. Her sister was playing local shows and beginning a path to becoming one of the biggest music stars in the world when Austin was quietly carving out his own creative way.

Austin was working as a freelance photographer for Getty Images during his college. He also photographed Taylor for People magazine. Alongside photography, he developed a passion for acting and performing in plays, which allowed him a different outlet to express himself.

Austin Swift Net Worth

He enrolled in University of Notre Dame for studying films and production. He performed in plays like Six Characters in Search of an Author and Dead Man’s Cell Phone. These are the roots for his acting career and made him understand it deeper. After graduation, he entered Hollywood, appearing in films and working behind the scenes which proves talent may run in the Swift family..

Breakdown Of Austin Swift’s Net Worth

There is no official declaration of his wealth by himself but conservative shared Austin Swift Net Worth which is actually fit based on his acting in Hollywood, Film Production, and Photography. From his pure acting and production, his worth is estimated around $5 million to $10 million but other sources estimated around $50 million and $65 million based on his deals with production, equity from Taylor’s masters catalogue, and investments.

The main source of his income is his acting, production and photography which is a great contribution to the media. The real work is his talent which makes the number increasing day-by-day while keeping a low profile.

Acting in Hollywood

Starting with acting in Live by Night which is a crime drama directed by and starring Ben Affleck along with Zoe Saldana and Elle Fanning. His first debut was absolutely fine but the same year, his next film I.T came out, a tech thriller alongside Pierce Brosnan.

Finding these roles is a great opportunity for a fresher who has just got out of college. Lead roles take time, his approach is not a blockbuster film but an interesting project. He also made an impressive impact by working in Cover Versions, Braking for Whales, and We Summon the Darkness.

He extended his range as an actor to make a fortune as his acting role made his income greatly enough to start his own production.

Austin Swift Film Production That Become A Biggest Asset

The most notable work is Folklore: The Long Pond Studio Sessions, Austin co-produced the entire documentary of Taylor Swift and her collaborators as they performed the Folklore album in a cabin setting, acclaimed by Disney+. The work not just received appreciation but became his core financial source.

Austin Swift's

He was widely praised for the next music video, I Bet You Think About Me (Taylor’s Version) which was directed by Blake Lively and starred Miles Teller. It received a nomination at the 2022 ACM Awards for Video of the Year that makes Austin Production details raise up at the next level.

He expanded his work with more production deals, particularly horror projects as he attracted serious interest from streaming platforms for his work in the horror genre.

Photography And Taylor Connection

The first source of his income is Austin’s Photography where he shot celebrities for Getty Images. The pictures are so attractive that they appeared in publications like Vanity Fair and The New York Times.

Photography is great but not his main source of income as it’s helped shape his view for storytelling. While his connection with Taylor Swift opens many doors for the production, it doesn’t mean that he didn’t work hard on his talent. Working inside her creative team gave him access to high-level projects early on.

Taylor’s connection somehow had an impact on Austin’s wealth, his early success is possible with producing documentary content and visual projects for her. This work shows his talent to the world which showed that he did not just show up as the famous sister’s brother — he delivered perfectly.

What Sets Austin Apart

In a world full of controversial seekers, Austin Swift chose to make a fortune silently. He keeps himself away from social media, just delivering his work and letting the work speak for himself.

Standing next to someone as globally famous as Taylor Swift is hard but Austin handles this pressure very smoothly. He rarely gives interviews and when he gives, he has spoken warmly about his sister. Taylor has been equally supportive and shared a close bond.

He has also been dating Sydney Ness, a model, since about 2022. The couple is very private about their relationship, and that’s pretty consistent with how Austin approaches pretty much everything in his personal life.

Conclusion

Austin Swift Net Worth is most commonly estimated between $5 million and $50 million based on multiple sources of his income. He grew up with his globally popular sister, Taylor Swift but chose to build his own.

His family is supportive for both at their young age but he is more interested in Behind the stage work. He simply studied acting and gave interviews then expanded his talent to the production. He used his storytelling talent in the best way that makes his worth in millions. At 33, he is still growing his empire on his own terms.

Keira Knightley new dark comedy movie ‘The Worst’ with Jamie Dornan and Alicia Vikander

Keira Knightley leads the dark comedy THE WORST with Jamie Dornan and Alicia Vikander. Cast, plot information, release hype and more. Read more visit website!

Published: Feb 11, 2026, 9:38 AM
Last Updated: Feb 11, 2026, 9:41 AM

The recently announced film The Worst is already shaping up to be one of the most interesting films this year. Variety have also confirmed that Keira Knightley, Alicia Vikander, Jamie Dornan, and Erin Kellyman will all appear in this upcoming dark comedy The Worst that is a powerhouse cast if I’ve ever seen one. It’s very rare to have such esteemed actors all come together for one project this early in a career and it says that the production is going to be something ambitious creatively.

This is not just a collection of over-exposed actors, but a group who can portray characters with layers of intensity and complexity psychologically. Combined, these actors’ collective strengths hint at a movie that will play to an emotional core and perhaps a bit of controlled chaos, right in line with the tone suggested by the genre.

If the early storyline summaries are any indication, The Worst seems primed to offer a daring, out-of-the-box cinematic ride that could potentially be one of the more distinctive films in today’s market.

The Plot: A Dinner Party from Hell (But Make It Fashion)

There’s nothing quite as tasty as a satire of “rich people behaving badly.” From Succession to The Menu, we as a society are fascinated with watching the privileged class collapse. The Worst appears to be tailor-made to deliver that, albeit with a sun-kissed, French edge.

A Dinner Party from Hell

Here’s the scoop: the movie takes place in a beautiful new chateau in France. Alicia Vikander is Emily Fisher, a high society socialite who, after her husband Max, hosts a group of friends at night. Apparently this is one of these groups of homies who all secretly (or not so secretly) loathe each other.

Cast and Characters

Keira Knightley is taking on the role of Holly, a “struggling diversity consultant” who has conflicts with everyone until she gets a migraine. Anyone that has watched Knightley in Begin Again or the more easy-going, cheerful bits of Pride and Prejudice will know just how much comedic timing she has and yet is never fully utilised. Prejudice knows how to make use of her effortless charm while throwing out razor-sharp wit. But to see her playing an abrasive, “deliberately flawed” character is definitely going to be a treat.

And then there’s Jamie Dornan as Danny, a fast-talking talent agent who can’t stop dropping the names of his clients. If you saw Dornan in Barb and Star Go to Vista Del Mar, you know he’s actually a comedic genius. He’s got that charm that can so easily curdle into something hilariously insufferable, which sounds absolutely right for this role.

Cast and Characters

And who’s caught in the middle of this hurricane of narcissism? The brilliant Erin Kellyman (which if you’ve seen Willow or The Falcon and the Winter Soldier you’ll remember her) is Niamh, the waitress.

There’s something so comforting about the “average Joe stuck with insanely wealthy people” trope. Kellyman’s screen presence is so grounded and powerful; at the end of a night of collapsing secrets and madness will be the anchor this tale needs.

The Director: A Reunion We Didn’t See Coming

Simon Woods is making his directorial debut with the film. If you know that name, that’s because he was once an actor before he became a playwright. Here’s a fun fact, though: Woods and Keira Knightley were also in the 2005 Pride & Prejudice! He acted as Mr. Bingley.

The Director

It’s always interesting when actors direct because they view performance from a different angle. Woods has penned the screenplay himself, calling it a bid to “seduce audiences into identifying with characters who are intentionally flawed, abrasive and frequently enraging.”

He just wants us to be on the verge of sympathizing with these awful people before yanking the rug out from under us. It’s a daring move. It’s dangerous. And it sounds just like the kind of uncomfortable, “make-you-want-to-rip-the-armrest-off-the-seat” cinema that people end up talking about.

Key Highlights and Collaboration: Why We Are Already Obsessed

Other than the cast, what sets The Worst apart is the timing. We live in a golden age of class satire. We live to pick apart privilege, particularly when it’s served up with “wickedly entertaining” humor, as the producers promise.

But it’s also a particular configuration of these actors.

  • Alicia Vikander primarily does heavy drama work (The Danish Girl, Ex Machina). Seeing her as a domestic diva suggests a level of performativity that she will no doubt obliterate.
  • Jamie Dornan has managed to break free from the shadow of Fifty Shades and has reinvented himself as a a versatile, and quite frequently funny, character actor.
  • Keira Knightley is the queen of period dramas, but she’s been making some really interesting contemporary choices recently (like Silent Night).

When Can We See Keira Knightley New Dark Comedy Movie ?

That is the hard part. The project is now available to buyers at the European Film Market (EFM) in Berlin, running now. So production and release dates are still to be decided.

But for a cast this stacked, it’s almost certain to be scooped up quickly. I wouldn’t be shocked if a streaming giant or major studio is in a bidding war for the rights by the end of the week.

So we wait, for now. But let’s be real — the group chat has already been ignited. We’re already casting our predictions on who cracks first at this dinner party. My money’s on Jamie Dornan’s character Machiavellian-networking his way out of a disaster while Keira Knightley’s character silently judges him from across the room.

Conclusion

The Worst is not a typical film announcement, it’s more like the start of a cultural talk. With a keenly focused premise, a brazen creative vision, and a cast full of actors who excel in psychological nuance, this doesn’t seem like the run-of-the-mill dark comedy, it’s an event. Keira Knightley new dark comedy movie with Jamie Dornan is the kind of film that intelligently dissects privilege, power, and hypocrisy with humor and just enough chaos to make audiences a little uncomfortable in the best way.

If it lives up to even half of what it’s promising, The Worst won’t just entertain, it will linger. It will provoke debates, think-pieces, memes, and 4 AM conversations about characters and moral failures. And in a world flooded with safe, formulaic releases, that’s precisely what makes this film exciting: it’s allowed to be messy, provocative, and unforgettable.

Jennifer Aniston’s Transformation: From Rachel Green to The Morning Show Success

Jennifer Aniston's stunning transformation from Rachel to The Morning Show has fans amazed. Check out her fitness, fashion and fearless role selections to date.

Published: Nov 28, 2025, 8:31 AM
Last Updated: Apr 25, 2026, 12:56 PM

Aniston played Rachel Green on ‘Friends’ for ten seasons from 1994 to 2004, a character whose mannerisms, hairstyle, and love interests defined what it meant to be a 20-something woman around the world. The actress could not be disentangled from the character, it’s hard for everyone to recognize Aniston in other characters. Rachel Green was everywhere, on lunch boxes, in syndication, and in the cultural lexicon.

Aniston noted that she —
“Couldn’t get over from the shadow of Rachel Green ever in my life”

describing the experience as “exhausting”. The character was a “poor little rich daddy’s girl”, a specific archetype that afforded little room for the darkness or grit required of dramatic acting. Aniston admitted to fighting with herself and her identity in the industry “forever,” constantly trying to prove

She was “more than that person”.
—Aniston said

FRIENDS Could have Lost Jennifer Anniston at First

Jennifer Aniston’s whole Friends run nearly never happened because she was at that time already committed to a CBS sitcom titled Muddling Through back in 1994. Because she was “only in second position” for Friends, NBC was worried that they might have to recast Rachel if the CBS show was a hit, and speculated about shooting multiple episodes, only for CBS to pick it up and they’d have to do reshoots.

Courteney Cox & Jennifer Anniston in FRIENDS

Aniston got her big break when Muddling Through was cancelled, and that led to her being cast on Friends – which just goes to show how precarious a career in Hollywood can be, and how one cancellation can make way for the series that takes an actor global and defines their stardom.

Aniston’s The Good Girl, Horrible Bosses, & Cake break the FRIENDS curse

Helmed by Miguel Arteta, the film stars Aniston as Justine Last, a dour employee at a mall shoe store who has a clandestine relationship with a younger coworker (Jake Gyllenhaal). The choice to accept the part was nerve-racking.

“Panic that set over me,” thinking, “Oh God, I don’t know if I can do this? Maybe they’re right”.
—Aniston recalls

The film was an independent production, lacking the safety net of a major studio marketing budget or a laugh track. It required Aniston to perform “without a net” in front of the world. The success of The Good Girl and the critical acclaim she received—provided the “relief” necessary to continue pursuing dramatic work. It was the proof of concept that she could exist outside the “purple walls” of the sitcom apartment.

Aniston’s The Good Girl
Jennifer Anniston in The Good Girl | Image credit: IMDb

If The Good Girl proved she could be sad, Horrible Bosses proved she could be predatory. The appeal lay in the “black comedy” element. Aniston argued that “Comedy is a necessity,” but she expressed a preference for the “craziness” of the Horrible Bosses universe over the gentler comedy of Friends.

“Maybe everybody else is seeing something I’m not seeing, which is you are only that girl in the New York apartment with the purple walls”.

This quote speaks to the psychological complexity of the curse—it wasn’t only that she believed producers wouldn’t hire her but she was afraid she wasn’t capable of doing the work.

Breaking the curse required exposure therapy. By performing in independent films like The Good Girl and Cake, where the safety nets of budget and ensemble were removed, Aniston forced the industry to recalibrate its perception of her utility.

the psychological complexity of the curse

Cake is the ultimate punishment to shatter the curse. In this film, Aniston portrays Claire Bennett, a woman struggling with crippling chronic pain and addiction. Aniston quit exercising and wearing makeup. She studied friends with chronic pain to get a sense of what the condition felt like physically.

She allowed the role to “hurt” her, noting that during physical scenes, she “didn’t prepare” in the traditional sense but rather let the physical discomfort generate a real reaction.

The Morning Show – The Strong New Chapter For Jennifer Aniston

The morning show era (TMS), Executive produced and co-created by Reese Witherspoon is the shift from Aniston the Actress to Aniston the Mogul. The show is more than just an acting vehicle, it’s a platform for industry commentary and power play.

The partnership with Witherspoon’s Hello Sunshine production company created an environment of “understanding, compassion and consideration” that Aniston notes

“Doesn’t always exist amongst the dudes”.

Alex Levy is the culmination of Aniston’s post-Friends evolution. She is a morning news anchor, but she shares no DNA with Rachel Green. Alex is “complex, vulnerable, controlled, lonely, enraged, self-serving”.

The Morning Show

In Season 4 (2025), Alex has transcended the anchor desk to become a corporate executive. She is no longer fighting for a contract; she is fighting for the soul of the network. Critics have praised Aniston’s performance in this era as

“It is the best of her performances and able to perform mature characters”

noting her ability to portray moral conflict without the melodrama that sometimes plagued her earlier dramatic attempts. The role gives Aniston a chance to examine issues of power, complicity and growing older in a way Friends never did.

Conclusion

By 2025, she’s at a place very few could have predicted back in 2004: she’s the boss. On The Morning Show, she plays a character who runs the network, much like in real life, where she’s a producer on the show. She swapped the “purple walls” of the Friends apartment for the glass walls of the UBN executive suite. Jennifer Aniston has now shown beyond a shadow of a doubt that she is, in fact, “more than that person.”

Rian Johnson is Looking Forward For ‘The Knives Out 4’ with Daniel Craig Again

Rian Johnson has hinted at Knives Out 4 with Daniel Craig and hopes to cast Meryl Streep. Wake Up Dead Man will arrive in 2025 before the next mystery begins.

Published: Dec 1, 2025, 12:45 PM
Last Updated: Dec 15, 2025, 6:45 AM

If there’s one thing Rian Johnson has shown us these past few years, it’s that the whodunit isn’t defunct but it simply needed a new wardrobe. The Knives Out series has blossomed from a sleeper success into a cultural juggernaut, the quintessential cinematic comfort food for a generation exhausted by CGI superheroes. But now as we’re about to do the third, Wake Up Dead Man (in late 2025), the conversation is already shifting to the future. And that future has a name: Meryl Streep.

The “White Whale” of Murder Mysteries

Rian Johnson tends to keep things close to the vest. He is notoriously not in possession of “wish lists” of actors, instead allowing the script to determine the casting. However, he has just broken his own rule in an interview with IndieWire, revealing that Meryl Streep for a future mystery is the one and only person he wants.

“I feel like you’d slot into a murder mystery very well,”
–Johnson said

Addressing the screen legend, It’s a match made in cinematic heaven. The Knives Out world is very much about tone, a sort of heightened reality where camp has real emotion. Streep is the unchallenged sovereign of this discrepancy. From the grotesque comedy of Death Becomes Her to the icy satire of The Devil Wears Prada, she can portray a matriarchal antagonist or a flustered intellectual counterpoint to Daniel Craig’s Benoit Blanc.

The White Whale of Murder Mysteries

The campaign to get her is already in-house. Kerry Washington, star of the soon to Wake Up Dead Man, has gone public with her intention to “encourage” her former co-star to come aboard. In Hollywood, that sort of peer-to-peer validation is often what seals the deal.

The Magic of the Revolving Door

Part of the brilliance of the Knives Out approach is its ”revolving door” policy. Except for the immaculately clad Benoit Blanc, no one makes it to the sequel. This “literary hex” format eliminates the “Cabot Cove Syndrome” (“where murder just keeps following one person around”) and keeps the storyline fresh.

The Magic of the Revolving Door

According to Variety, This setup has come to serve as the franchise’s secret weapon in recruiting. It’s easy to see Streep, one of the finest actresses of her generation, expressing hesitation about signing a six-movie deal for a Marvel franchise, but a “one-and-done” invitation to play a quirky suspect in a glamorous location? That’s an easy yes. It gives Johnson the ability to book “Avengers-level” casts in what are basically mid-budget conversations in rooms.

“Daniel and I make these films as partners. The moment either of us feels even a little unsure, we’ll stop.
—Johnson said.

Wake Up Dead Man and Beyond

We have the 2025 release to work through before any Streep dreams. Wake Up Dead Man will move the satirical focus from the tech disruptors of Glass Onion to religious organizations. With a cast that includes Josh Brolin, Andrew Scott, and the legendary Glenn Close, the film appears to be trying out working with Hollywood royalty—perhaps a dry run for the “Streep Proposition.”

  • Wake Up Dead Man 2025
  • Daniel Craig
  • Wake Up Dead Man and Beyond
  • Knives Out 4
  • Meryl Streep Knives Out

But the most intriguing twist may emerge behind the scenes. The massive $450 million four-picture deal Johnson inked with Netflix officially ends with this third film. This makes Knives Out 4 a “free agent.”

Johnson has spoken openly about his preference for the theatrical experience, and with the rights possibly coming available, we may get a huge bidding war among streamers and traditional studios. This grants Johnson and Daniel Craig extraordinary leverage. If they want to get Meryl Streep to the movie, not just the television movie, they can insist on a full theatrical run as a prerequisite for the next film.

The Last Adult Blockbuster

Asking for Meryl Streep in Knives Out now means the game is no longer a hit series, it’s trying to become a cinematic institution. In the age when franchise and reboots rule the roost, this franchise is the last holdout of the “adult blockbuster”—films that are propelled by dialogue, character and wit rather than explosions.

“When it’s all said and done, you make the movie and you just can’t see anybody else playing that role.”
—Johnson said.

Conclusion

Rian Johnson’s vision of Knives Out is constantly changing and deepening, and with the chance of Meryl Streep joining Daniel Craig in another film round, the franchise is moving closer to become a trip-holiday cinematic tradition. The stage is set for bigger names, bigger bids and an even grander reinvention of the modern whodunit with Wake Up Dead Man coming in 2025 and the fourth film currently in “free agent” limbo. If Streep makes her way into this world, it wouldn’t just be casting — it’d be history.

Keira Knightley Sparks Harry Potter Audiobook Controversy

Keira Knightley voices Umbridge in the new Harry Potter audiobook. She responds to the Rowling-Watson controversy, urging respect and understanding among fans.

Keira Knightley is also among the voice cast of the Audible “Harry Potter: The Full Cast Audio Editions,” in which she voices Professor Umbridge. The initial audiobook, Harry Potter and the Sorcerer’s Stone, will be released on 4 November 2025 exclusively on Audible, with the rest of the series becoming available monthly thereafter. Variety noted about the statement of Knightley after the Harry Potter actress Emma Watson and Rowling fueling disagreements on trans rights hit around.

A Fresh Take on Professor Umbridge

In the Harry Potter movies, Umbridge (Imelda Staunton) is far more “normal” and straight-laced in appearance. The film features her character as a double faced lady, she looks innocent in a girly pink attire, even more attractive that no one can think of her as extremely vindictive and evil. It hits the harsh reality from the most cruel character.

The audiobook version, with Keira Knightley as Umbridge, is a vocal performance only. The voice acting is able to convey the tone, cruelty and emotional layers of Umbridge’s character in a way that visual exaggerations in the book or the normalized cinematic look do not allow.

Overall, The movie shows Umbridge as superficially normal looking but cold and callous, the book describes her physical features in a way that makes her look sickening to highlight how evil she is and the audiobook utilizes voice acting to represent her character without the visual aspect, making for an experience that is more open to interpretation.

The full-cast productions includes more than 200 voices including other well known actors such as Kit Harington as Professor Lockhart, James McAvoy as Mad-Eye Moody and Simon Pegg as Arthur Weasley.

Knightley Addresses the Ongoing J.K. Rowling–Emma Watson Rift

In recent interviews, Keira Knightley has said she was unaware of the fan-organised boycott of the Harry Potter franchise (based on the comments of author J.K. Rowling regarding trans issues), prior to taking on the role of narrator in the series of audiobooks. Knightley said she hoped people could respect one another despite having opposing viewpoints.

She added, We all have our own points of view but respect is important in that. Maybe if we can just listen to one another a little more the world would seem a bit less fractured. Let’s all hope we can figure this out, together!

J.K. Rowling and Emma Watson’s Public Exchange Keeps the Debate Alive

J.K. Rowling recently responded to Emma Watson after the actress gave her opinion in a rare interview. Watson said that she could “still treasure” Rowling despite their disagreements over trans rights. Rowling responded with a dig at Watson, insinuating that she has “never known adult life uncushioned by wealth and fame.” It looks like the rivalry between the two still rumbles on, with their contrasting views continuing to divide fans and members of the public.

J.K. Rowling and Emma Watson’s Public Exchange Keeps the Debate Alive

After J.K. Rowling expressed her approval of the UK Supreme Court ruling that trans women are not women in law, there was a bit of an outcry. Over 400 people have signed a letter calling for support for trans rights, including Paapa Essiedu, who is now playing the iconic role of Professor Snape in the upcoming Harry Potter series from HBO Max.

Deadline previously shared that she was involved in the pitch process for Warner Bros., with HBO Chairman and CEO Casey Bloys addressing the controversy surrounding J.K. Rowling’s comments. Bloys explained that the situation is “very nuanced and complicated” but emphasized that their main focus is on what’s being brought to the screen. He highlighted that the Harry Potter story itself is a celebration of love, self-acceptance, and positivity, which remains the core of the franchise.

Conclusion

Keira Knightley’s presence on Harry Potter: The Full Cast Audio Editions offers a fresh and unique take on one of the series’ most notoriously unpleasant villains, Professor Umbridge. In her nuanced performance, fans will have a new way to “see” the magic, not through visuals, but through tone, emotion and imagination. In addition to the audiobook, her participation also reopens discussions about the continuing rift between J.K. Rowling and Emma Watson, and how the wizarding world still ends up mirroring real-world debates on respect and understanding of trans rights and lives.

An Exhaustive Strategic and Narrative Analysis of Eva Green’s Casting in ‘Wednesday’ Season 3

Eva Green is set to portray Aunt Ophelia Frump in Wednesday Season 3, bringing dark psychology and mystery to the award-winning series series in 2027.

Last Updated: Apr 25, 2026, 12:53 PM

The fact that Eva Green has been cast as Aunt Ophelia Frump in season three of Netflix’s Wednesday is a huge win in the streaming giant’s content strategy and the growing creative evolution of the Addams Family franchise. The announcement was made official on 25 November 2025 through The Hollywood Reporter, putting an end to months of rampant speculation following the Season 2 cliffhanger.

Green’s addition isn’t just a casting coup, it is a clear shift towards high-stakes psychological horror given her natural and proven working relationship with executive producer Tim Burton and his gothic storytelling roots. It’s about how the popular “Lady Gaga” fan theories are being debunked, the production logistics that indicate a Summer 2027 release, and the deep lore of “Raven” psychics that implies Series 3 will be the franchise’s most intellectually daring outing yet.

The Creative Vision Of Showmaker & Eva Green’s Alignment

The decision to cast Green was accompanied by strong endorsements from the show’s creative leadership. Al Gough and Miles Millar, the creators and showrunners, issued a statement to Tudum that focused on what it is that Green brings to the role — attributes that fit with the show’s developing look and feel.

“Eva Green has always brought an exhilarating, singular presence to the screen — elegant, haunting and beautifully unpredictable, making her the perfect choice for Aunt Ophelia.”
—Al Gough and Miles Millar stated

This is the key quote for understanding what Ophelia is supposed to do. The adjectives “haunting” and “unpredictable” suggest that the character will generate real narrative tension and perhaps menace rather than simply being a quirky relative.

The collaboration marks a reunion between Green and executive producer Tim Burton.Their earlier collaborations on Dark Shadows (2012), Miss Peregrine’s Home for Peculiar Children (2016) and Dumbo (2019) made Green the definitive “Burton Muse,” who could capture the director’s unique juxtaposition of the macabre and the sympathetic.

Green’s statement on being cast in the role showed a great understanding of the particular tone of the Wednesday universe—a mix of horror and satire.

“I’m excited to be a part of the haplessly warped world of ”Wednesday” as Aunt Ophelia. This is such a wonderfully dark and funny world, I am so excited to add my particular brand of cuckooness to the Addams family.”
—Eva Green said

It suggests a performance that will oscillate between the comedic eccentricity traditional to the Addams Family and the “dark and twisty” depth Green is famous for.

The Evolution of Ophelia Frump

The Wednesday series has dramatically reframed Ophelia, removing all the sitcom levity for gothic tragedy.

The show draws a line between the types of psychic powers: “Doves” (such as Morticia) are gifted with positive, helpful visions, while “Davens” (such as Wednesday) are plagued by violent, bleak and isolating ones.

Ophelia is a confirmed Raven, just like her niece. And this designation is key, meaning that Ophelia’s “madness” is caused by the very same burden that Wednesday is carrying. She is a “Ghost of Christmas Future” for Wednesday—a cautionary tale of what occurs when a Raven goes “to the limit and beyond” with her gifts.

Unlike the 1964 version, Netflix’s Ophelia endured a traumatic past in and out of institutions. The story discloses that she was lobotomized at Willow Hill Psychiatric Hospital by her mother, Hester Frump (Joanna Lumley).

The Season 2 Cliffhanger: “Wednesday Must Die”

The trigger of Ophelia’s return is her journal, in possession of Wednesday, whom Morticia entrusts with it as a sign of trust. That object acts as a device, and the two women, aunt and niece (Wednesday) across time while having a vision.

According to Movieweb, The need to cast Green is so urgent because of the explosive final moments of Season 2, Ophelia (back view) in a red dress, committing “Wednesday must die” in her own blood on the cell wall. The iconic image of the finale—and the teaser for Season 3.

The “Wednesday Must Die” Prophecy

According to Collider, Ophelia’s statement that “Wednesday must die” makes her an immediate danger. However, given the “Raven” aspect of her abilities, she could be seeing a future in which Wednesday turns into a means to an end for potential global destruction, and her trying to kill him is a very warped form of heroism. Or, she could be affected by the madness brought on by her captivity.

Ophelia is more than a psychic threat, “blood on the wall” evokes a bodily threat and Wednesday has never been confronted by a relative in such a fashion.

The typical post-production schedule of 12 to 14 months for a show that relies heavily on VFX (with werewolves, hydes, and disembodied hands), Season 3’s estimated release is Summer 2027.

The Matriarchal Conflict

Hester (Joanna Lumley) is unmasked as a cold-blooded pragmatist who locked up her own child. In Season 3, Morticia (Catherine Zeta-Jones) and Wednesday face off with Hester, contesting the family pecking order.

Morticia is the “Dove” that survived by assimilating (somewhat), Ophelia is the “Raven” that was shattered. Green and Zeta-Jones together on screen is one hell of a clash of acting titans as they interrogate the guilt Morticia feels over her sister’s fate.

Conclusion

The choice of Eva Green to play Wednesday op indicates a clear rise in Wednesday’s franchise potential. In signing an actress of Green’s calibre – who is very much a face for the ‘gothic prestige’ genre – Netflix is making sure that season three has the dramatic heft to match the global phenomenon that the first two seasons have become.

Kathleen Robertson and Mark Engelhardt Join the Hit CBS Series the Tracker

Kathleen Robertson and Mark Engelhardt join CBS’s hit series Tracker, bringing new characters, fresh twists, and added depth to Colter Shaw’s story.

Published: Dec 13, 2025, 8:17 AM
Last Updated: Dec 13, 2025, 8:18 AM

The CBS hit series Tracker has been given an electrifying shakeup, and fans of the show will be the real beneficiaries. Veteran television stars, Kathleen Robertson and Mark Engelhardt, have been nabbed as series regulars for season six, adding new layers to the captivating story arc that revolves around Justin Hartley’s iconic character, Colter Shaw.

Who’s Coming to Tracker?

Kathleen Robertson, who is likely best remembered for the searing Swimming with Sharks, has been cast as Maxine, a powerhouse attorney at a top firm. An interesting premise is introduced with her character: she befriends Reenie Greene (Fiona Rene, who is simply wonderful) and appears to be engaged in routine legal work on a class action suit. But here is the surprise nothing is what it was supposed to be up close.

Maxine is hiding something big and it will rock the boat. Robertson also has a producing and writing background, the kind of creative smarts that is sure to add additional layers to her role.

Mark Engelhardt (best known for American Horror Story: Asylum) will now play Emile Sark, a man with a strong sense of right and wrong. Paul’s description makes him sound cold, calculating and ruthless — a man who lives by his own rules, morals and ethics. A character like this could really shake up the dynamic of the show and cause some amazing tension.

What This Means for Tracker

These two casting additions are interesting in the development of the series. Tracker has been a powerhouse for CBS since debuting after Super Bowl LVIII in February 2024. Based on Jeff Deaver’s best-selling novel The Never Game, the drama centers on Colter Shaw, who roams the country, employing his unparalleled tracking and survival skills to find missing people and crack cases while raking in cash. Justin Hartley has nailed the role, he made me believe in the lone-wolf survivalist.

Season 3 had already been released on October 19, 2025, and the series continued to provide the quality storytelling that the viewers were expecting. Following the dramatic cliffhangers and family revelations of prior seasons, Colter is confronted with hard truths about his family’s past. With the addition of Robertson and Engelhardt’s characters to the mix, more depth and complexity is brought into the story.

The Show’s Evolution

What makes this casting development even more interesting is how it plays into a larger overhaul of the series’ supporting players. It was previously announced that series regulars Eric Graise (who played tech-savvy hacker Bobby) and Abby McEnany (who was the empathetic Velma) exited the show. This allowed the show’s creators to take the series in new directions, and introduce completely new character dynamics.

Elwood Reid (showrunner) has been very clear about what he wants the series to be: for every week, starting with Colter coming into a new place with a new case and how he goes about approaching solving it is entirely for grabs. This loose format allowed the series to bring in several memorable guest stars and recurring characters who added a unique element to the storyline.

Conclusion

Robertson and Engelhardt round out a cast including the powerhouse Justin Hartley and the incredible Fiona Rene. The series has already shown that it can lure big-name guest stars such as Jensen Ackles, Sofia Pernas and a host of other fan favorites.

With these two talented additions, Tracker is set to keep the wins coming. The arrival of Maxine and Emile Sark promises some interesting story lines, especially as these characters relate to Reenie and to Colter’s investigations. Whether they wind up allies or enemies, one thing is for certain: the CBS series is still pushing the envelope in exhilarating ways that keep viewers hooked and starving for more.
